The Wien Live Inside Fashion Tour has already become a tradition among the events organized annually by the festival for fashion & photography in Vienna. The newbies in the city – as well as other few Wieners – may however ignore what this is all about. No worries, though, bloggers were born to explain things like these:

On this tour, a celebrity will take the guests – a.k.a. us – to some of the most exciting avantgarde shops, ateliers and studios related to fashion in the city. This great idea combines two wonderful things in modern life: to go shop-shop-shopping plus to have a celebrity taking care of us – because every now and then we all love a celebrity around!

The German actress Elke Winkens will be this year’s tour guide beziehungsweise fashion guru. She’s been working everywhere – especially in Germany and Austria - and has done theater, film and television. Currently Elke Winkens is working on her first solo cabaret program. One of her most popular roles was performing as Niki Herzog in the TV series ‘Kommissar Rex’. Quite charming, isn’t she?

Thrilling? Lust darauf? Then I recommend you to stay tuned, since invitations for the tour are entirely free of charge, but capacity is reduced. First-come, first-served!

Tour start is on Wednesday, May 30^th at 5pm at Rudolf Scheer & Söhne, Bräunerstr. 4, 1010 Wien. Followed by Wilfried Mayer and And_i.

Edisa, grew up visiting museums, reading her Mom’s fashion magazines, and wishing she was old enough to be in the fashion world and to accomplish her passion to her profession. It’s no wonder that she have studied literature and communications, and combines her postgraduate studies with work at “Flair Magazine" plus writing almost everyday on her Blog - Disi’s Couture Lifestyle.

Vincent enjoys paradoxes! Currently, he works as office clerk and he is a serious club kid! As a strategist, marketing specialist and shy enthusiast, he dreams of finding a husband in every possible hopeless place! Get to know him at You Never Wear That.

Lara, is an artist, art director, stylist and photographer. Graduated in Fine Arts and living between Vienna and Barcelona. Culture, history and melting pot

First blogger mission: a visit to the Museum of Ethnology

Located in the heart of the Helden Platz, the Museum of Ethnology might not be as popular among occasional tourists as some of its neighbours, yet a visit is always worthwhile. Aside from its glowing marble interiors, it offers some hidden gems for any fashion enthusiast worthy of this name.

Anything else? Yes! It will be playing a big role during the 12 festival for fashion & photography, for it will host the ceremony of the AFA - Austria Fashion Awards, the EVOQUE Fashion Night and the departure Fashion Night.

Also, and if you like the sightseeing game, its surroundings will be like heaven to you. Visitors from all over the world love strolling around while holding their cameras, checking their city maps or just carrying shopping bags. Here are some of them:
